With ScriptBase 4, we are introducing a new support policy. The full version of the support contract will be ready by the time version 4 is released. The ideas underpinning our support policy remain the same:

Well designed software requires little support. If there are problems, ScriptBase Software will endeavour to fix bugs, and not charge you for defects in the system.

Well designed software does not require the programmer to install it for you. ScriptBase Software will endeavour to make the system easy for you to install and upgrade, and will answer your questions without charge to help you do this.

Well designed software should be offered on a 'try before you buy' basis, to show confidence in the product and give customers a fair go at trying it out without placing too much trust in a sales person.

Well designed software should be priced to reflect the opportunities afforded by the internet to collapse supply chains and slash costs. ScriptBase Software will use these technologies, and pass on the savings to the customer.

Upgrade and support contract

A purchase of ScriptBase includes one year of the upgrade and support contract. If you wish to continue to recieve updates and email support after the first year, you will need to purchase the support contract each year. The contract includes:

ScriptBase Software is commited to ongoing improvement of the application and will release new versions with new features and changes required by changes to prescribing rules. These updates will be available for free download by all registered users.

Email based support

The standard support contract includes email based support - we guarentee a reply to your query within 24 hours, though will usualy take only a couple of hours.

'Gold' support contract

If you require high availability telephone based support, this is available as enhanced or 'gold' level support. The cost is 2 x the standard support / upgrade fee.
