Version 4 of ScriptBase is NOT yet ready, it is due for launch on the 27th May 2008.

We suggest you wait and install the new and improved version 4; if you are keen to take a look now, go ahead and install version 3 (just be sure to come back and upgrade, it will not cost you anything!).

Download the installation program by following the instructions to the right. Run the installation program and follow instructions on screen. After the software has been installed, run ScriptBase from the Windows menu. When it first runs, it will detect that this is a new installation or upgrade and request you register the this on the ScriptBase website.

For new installations

You must agree to a license agreement before you install the program. If you cannot agree to the license, remove the program from your hard disk and do not proceed.

Version 3 of ScriptBase will take between 10 and 20 minutes on a dial up connection, and 20 seconds to 3 minutes on broadband. When you have downloaded the file, 'sbinstall.exe' run it on the machine you wish to use ScriptBase on. File size is about 1.9 Mb

For upgrades

The downloaded file will also upgrade any earlier version of ScriptBase 3 than 3.76. You must run the fix tables utility and make a backup before installing this upgrade over the top.
