ScriptBase is programmed to understand the different
kind of prescriptions which you can write, indicate if they are legal
(or even within your clinics practice guidelines) and print them onto
the correct forms.
Holidays and Pharmacy closures are the bane
of the prescribing Doctor, client and drug worker alike. ScriptBase
works to a list of holidays and is usually able to automatically adjust
prescriptions around them, or at very least pointing out the problem
and putting the script on hold.
For stable prescriptions, handling is automatic.
Dates are advanced after printing, and will 'role' as repeat prescriptions
until you indicate otherwise.
Unique to ScriptBase is 'on the fly' writing
of prescription wording: as you change the specification of a script
(drug, dose, length etc.) a sample wording is changed and updated. It
is therefore easy to see if you are getting what you wanted to write.
